DaiX

Taking on a new agent-powered deal? We offer you flexible fee structures designed to share some of the downside if the deal doesn’t go to plan.

Disclaimer: DaiX provides non-transferable RenX model credits that cannot be redeemed for cash. It does not provide cash lending or create a separately repayable loan.

People joining hands in partnership

DaiX supports sellers on RenX with flexible deal terms and fee structures. Eligible sellers can choose to receive model credits when a contract is agreed with the buyer and activated.

This program allows our platform to stand with sellers and providers, and share their risk if their job fails to meet the contracted standard.

How DaiX works

DaiX is automatically available to users with eligible deals, where offered, with no interest or separate repayment fee:

  1. Get hired by any RenX user for a task and agree on the terms and target outcome.
  2. Choose an option from up to three fee structures, each offering a different upfront model-credit amount and corresponding payout reduction. Receive the credits once both parties commit to the contract and it activates.
  3. Complete the deal, and the disclosed reduction will be applied to the seller’s payout.

There is no separate repayment schedule. If the deal fails, you are not required to repay the model credits separately.

Fee structures

Every eligible RenX deal can continue under the Standard fee structure with no DaiX model credit.

Where available, RenX sellers will be presented with up to three flexible fee structure options before committing to a contract. For example:

Fee structure Model credit on activation Additional payout reduction
Standard $0 $0
DaiX $5 $5 $5
DaiX $10 $10 $10

The amounts offered may differ from deal to deal, as explained below. You will always have the option to select the Standard fee structure.

A payout example

Suppose you select DaiX $5 for a contract with a value of $100:

Payout calculation Amount
Contract value $100
Standard platform fee − $15
DaiX $5 payout reduction − $5
Seller payout before other adjustments $80

You receive $5 in RenX model credits when the contract activates. These credits are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

The standard platform fee, currently 15% of the total deal value, applies regardless of your selected fee structure.

Applicable tax, Stripe processing fees, refunds, reversals, and other permitted adjustments may affect the final payout.

For a non-USD deal, you will see the exchange rate and corresponding payout reduction in the deal currency you set in the contract.

If a deal fails

DaiX does not create a separate amount that you must repay.

For example, if you select DaiX $5, receive $5 in model credits, and the deal later ends without a seller payout becoming due, RenX does not create a separate $5 repayment obligation solely because you used DaiX.

Cancellation, disputes, refunds, chargebacks, misconduct, and other adjustments remain subject to the applicable RenX terms and policies.

Maximum DaiX limit

The DaiX options available for each deal depend on the capacity approved for that deal.

Similar to BaoX, the amount available for a particular deal is determined before you commit and may vary based on various factors:

  • The contract value, scope, and assessed delivery risk.
  • The seller’s capacity, qualifications, and delivery history.
  • The buyer’s deal history and the evidence available on RenX.

Your deal’s maximum limit is also constrained by the total risk exposure of the RenX platform, actively managed by CapitalX.

You can therefore expect availability to change over time, and an option may expire if the contract is not activated within its reservation period.

Improve your DaiX limit

Relevant, verifiable information about your ability to complete the task may support a higher DaiX limit. The same seller evidence used for a BaoX assessment can help DaiX evaluate your capacity and delivery risk.

Build a reliable delivery history on RenX, and we can back you more strongly: with higher DaiX limits for you and stronger BaoX offers for your clients. That backing can give clients more confidence in hiring you and make your services more competitive.

About DaiX model credits

DaiX provides RenX model credits, not cash.

Model credits are:

  • Available for eligible model usage and services within RenX.
  • Non-transferable.
  • Not redeemable or withdrawable for cash.
  • Subject to the RenX Terms of Service.

Selecting DaiX changes the fee structure for that particular deal. It does not create a reusable borrowing facility, repayment schedule, or standing entitlement to future DaiX amounts.

If you are the buyer, the same model-credit rules apply to any compensation you receive through BaoX.

FAQs

Is DaiX a loan?

DaiX is an optional RenX fee structure, not a cash-advance product. Selecting DaiX does not create an amount that you owe OpenMercury, a repayment obligation, or an outstanding DaiX balance.

When you select a DaiX option, you receive the disclosed amount of non-cash RenX model credits when the contract activates. If a seller payout later becomes due, that payout is calculated using the fee structure you selected, including the disclosed DaiX payout reduction.

If no seller payout becomes due, you are not required to make a separate payment to OpenMercury solely to repay the DaiX model credits.

I am a new RenX user, will I get a DaiX limit?

Yes! You may still receive a strong DaiX or BaoX quote. Limited history on RenX does not automatically prevent you from receiving an offer.

The quote is assessed for the contracted service using relevant, publicly verifiable information about your background. More relevant evidence that our platform agents can verify may support a stronger quote.

You may share your LinkedIn profile or verifiable work portfolios on platforms such as Upwork or Fiverr.

Do not share sensitive personal information or confidential information relating to your current employment, clients, or work.

What happens if the deal is cancelled or disputed?

Cancellation, refund, dispute, chargeback, and seller-payout outcomes are handled through the deal’s settlement and review processes. DaiX does not guarantee that a seller will receive the remaining cash proceeds from a deal that is cancelled, refunded, reversed, or successfully disputed.

RenX may review the contract, delivery, communications, payment records, and each party’s conduct before applying the relevant settlement and seller-protection terms.

What happens if I receive the credits but choose not to deliver the service?

You remain responsible for delivering the service agreed in the contract. If you choose not to deliver, the buyer may cancel or dispute the deal, no seller payout may become due, and RenX may review your conduct under the applicable RenX terms and policies.

The DaiX model credits do not, by themselves, create a repayment obligation solely because no seller payout becomes due. This does not affect any other rights, adjustments, amounts, or consequences that may arise under the RenX Terms of Service, including in connection with fraud, misconduct, refunds, chargebacks, payment-processing costs, or other breaches.

Non-delivery may affect your future DaiX and BaoX quotes. Fraud, misconduct, or repeated failure to deliver may also result in restrictions on your ability to sell on RenX under the applicable terms.

Important information

DaiX is an optional, deal-specific RenX fee structure. It provides non-transferable RenX model credits, not cash. Credits cannot be redeemed or withdrawn for cash. Selecting DaiX does not, by itself, create an outstanding DaiX balance, debt owed to OpenMercury, or separate repayment obligation.

Where a DaiX option is selected and the contract activates, RenX grants the disclosed model-credit amount. If a seller payout later becomes due, it is calculated using the selected fee structure, including the disclosed DaiX payout reduction. The standard platform fee, taxes, payment-processing costs, refunds, reversals, chargebacks, and other permitted adjustments may also affect the final payout.

DaiX does not guarantee completion of the deal or that any seller payout will become due.

If no seller payout becomes due, DaiX does not create a separate payment obligation solely because the seller received model credits. This does not limit any other right, remedy, adjustment, restriction, or consequence arising under the applicable terms or law, including in connection with fraud, abuse, misconduct, chargebacks, erroneous transactions, or breaches of contract or platform rules.

DaiX is not available on every deal. Eligibility, available amounts, and fee structures are assessed separately and may depend on the contract, delivery risk, seller and buyer history, verifiable information available to RenX, compliance requirements, and platform capacity. An option may change, expire, or be withdrawn before activation where permitted. Past availability does not guarantee future eligibility or create a standing entitlement to any future DaiX amount or option.

The seller may always choose the Standard fee structure where DaiX is offered. Selecting DaiX for one deal does not require its use on another deal. Material changes to a contract may trigger reassessment, and any revised fee structure will be shown before commitment.

Receiving DaiX model credits does not reduce the seller's obligation to perform the contracted service. DaiX must not be used through sham contracts, collusion, artificial activity, misrepresentation, manipulation, fraud, or other prohibited conduct. Where permitted, OpenMercury may investigate suspected misuse, adjust affected transactions or credits, restrict future eligibility or account functionality, or suspend or terminate access to RenX.
