What is a "project AI” in Mercurise?
A project is your workspace for a specific topic or domain. Each project has its own AI tuned to your area of expertise. You can create multiple projects for different areas—for example, one for marketing strategy, another for financial analysis. Each project builds its own specialized AI based on your conversations in that domain. If you choose to publish it, your published work helps answer questions platform-wide. Even if you don't publish, your AI works for you privately.
-
How much effort do I need to build a project AI?
Zero extra effort. If you already use AI tools, you know how to build on Mercurise. Create a project on the topic you want to explore, then use Mercurise like any AI chat tool—ask questions, solve problems, and guide it with your expertise. The project AI is tuned with reasoning structures for your specific domain, so you work through problems together. Your conversations automatically train your AI. No special setup, no workflows, no additional content creation required.
-
How is this different from ChatGPT or other AI tools?
ChatGPT provides generic AI responses. Mercurise delivers collaborative answers from multiple expert creator AIs working together—with clear attribution showing who contributed what. Creators own their AI, control their content, and earn rewards based on contributions.
-
Many platforms allow personal AI agents (like GPTs in ChatGPT or Artifacts in Claude). Why use Mercurise?
Other platforms require users to search through thousands of individual AIs. Mercurise's AI orchestration engine automatically routes questions to multiple relevant creator AIs and combines their expertise into comprehensive answers. This means more exposure for creators and better answers for users—without the search friction.
-
Do I own my AI and data? Do you use my data to train other AIs?
You own your AI, your content, and your data. You control what gets published and can export or delete your content anytime. We never use your data to train other AIs or our platform models. We connect creators to collaborate—we don't extract from them.
-
How do creators get compensated?
Creators earn usage-based rewards when their AI contributes to answers. Every contribution is tracked with full attribution. Compensation is based on the value your AI provides in each response—considering answer quality and the relevance of your insights to the question.
-
Can I control how my AI represents my work?
Your AI adapts how it presents your insights based on user questions and what other AIs contribute, so exact phrasing varies. While building, you can switch to consult mode anytime to test how your AI responds to different topics. You decide what conversations to publish, and you can unpublish or delete anytime. Your AI is trained on your expertise, so it naturally represents you well.
-
How will I be seen after publishing my project AI?
You gain visibility in two ways:
1. Direct discovery: Your published AI appears in the Explore tab alongside other community AIs. Users can search, browse, and consult your AI directly.
2. Attribution in answers: When your AI contributes to collaborative responses:
In-line citations: Your project AI name appears within the answer, with a link to your project profile
Reference section: Your personal name appears in the references below, with a link to your creator profile for direct interaction
This multi-channel visibility builds your reputation and makes your expertise discoverable.
-
Can I upload my own documents or knowledge database?
We're exploring document upload features for future releases. Currently, the best way to incorporate your knowledge is through natural conversation—discuss your documents, share insights, and work through concepts with your project AI. This captures not just information, but your unique expertise and thinking.
